Meng Yao is a closet gay who tries (but fails) to hide his curiosity for the kinkier side of things. He mostly keeps an innocent outlook, retaining his more innocent personality and bright, positive outlook on things.
He is the son of Jin GuangShan's ex-prostitute mistress.
Meng Yao is NOT Jin GuangYao unless otherwise stated. He is not the calculative and manipulative version of that man and is more innocent and oblivious to the cruelty of the world.
He is 25 Years old, has a degree in Social Sciences and a minor in theatrical art.
Mostly calm, soft and sweet, but hides his ability to see deeper into actions and words.
He likes to bake and cook in his free time.

Modern AU Meng Yao quits working for the Jins and is now working part-time at a dog cafe. He is learning how to be a proper barista and enjoys being surrounded by dogs. But this also means he is sometimes very tired and does not rest enough. He is also selling his home bakes and sweets.

Set in canon times. Having been mistaken as a girl, he was kidnapped to a pirate ship to marry the captain. It was actually his own plot to escape from the brothel his mother had worked and died in. He since stayed on the ship as a 'wife' and traveled around the world with his husband,

Having run away from home, Meng Yao works for an agency as their rookie model, meanwhile dating his agency's boss. He strives to work hard so that he could one day also become an actor. He is fearful that his past as a prostitute's son will be found.
